are all top-notch. I mean come on. (bought in a store not from Amazon), so if they had lasted only 6 months to a year, maybe I would understand. I haven't even owned them a week, and already one of the earpieces stopped working.
to agree to that. It seems most "American" companies (if you can call them that since nothing is made here anymore) are all going the same route these days: Make crap for as cheap as possible; pawn it off on the unsuspecting public; worry more about profit and bottom-line than taking pride in products; CEOs laugh about it while they cruise around on their yachts. Apparently, my pair worked exactly how they were designed to work: not at all. Having previously lived in a beach town for 3 years, the Body Glove brand is well-known to me. As far as I know, their clothing, wetsuits, etc. Boy was I wrong. I realize they were only $[.].
I actually believe this is beyond shoddy craftsmanship and products this bad should be illegal to sell, but try getting the fat-cats in D.C. I am so disappointed in this product. I bought these headphones with the assumption that Body Glove would not put their name on a poor product. At first I thought I got a bad pair; then I read the reviews here.
Fellowes (the company who makes the product)replaced the first one, no questions asked, without me needing to send back the broken set. But the sound was good while they lasted. These would get four stars if I hadn't gone through two of them in a short period of time. But when the second one broke (the wires break and the sound is gone) I decided to ditch the headset completely.
I purchase two sets of Body Glove's Earglove Sport ear buds at a local retailer and in both cases they worked great for about 1 month. The connection between the wire and the 2.5mm jack is the weak point.
They break so quickly and easily that it just isn't worth it. This has always been my favorite hands-free set, but I have got through so many of them that I have finally given up on them. I love many of the features of this model and it works well, but they break and that just won't do.
So, it slips off my ear easily. The over the ear piece is too thick with my glasses and doesn't hold the ear. However, I can't recommend it for people on the go. Does not stay in or on my ear. The ear bud has a thick cord and it's impossible to orient it properly so it doesn't stay in the ear. I will say that the sound quality is very good and there have been no complaints about the microphone.
